Daily Telegraph Office, Saturday evening. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Compauy (limited) report as follows :— We held our usual weekly sale this mowing, at 10.30, and disposed of 951 sheepskins and 33 hides at the following prices :—
Merino dry, good Gd per lb, medium 3.£ d to 4£d ; Merino green, 4s ; crossbred dry, good 4yd to s£, medium 4d to 4Jd, inferior 3£d to 3|d; crossbred green, pelts 3d to 3£d each"; half-bred dry, good 5d to 6d per lb, medium 4fd to 4|d ; half-bred green, inferior 2s 6d each ; Lincoln dry, medium 4d to 4jd per lb, inferior 3}d to 3j}d; lambs' dry, medium 3£d to 3£d per lb, inferior 2d to 2^d. Hides—Over 60lbs, good, 4d ; medium, 3}d; damaged. l£d; under 601bs, 2|d to 3jd.

New Zealand securities are at the f jl--lowing quotations:—s per cent. 10-40 loan, 104, V; 5 per cent. ISS9 loan, 103 ex div. ; 4i per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 104J ; 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 102 J. The total reserve in the Bank of England innotes and bullion is £9,500,000. being £600,000 less than the reserve last Thursday. The proportion of the reserve to the liabilities has fallen during the week from 36 per cent, to 34 per cent. The bank rate of discount has been raised to 5 per cent., and the market rntc has advanced to 4 \ per cent. The markets for colonial produce are without quotable change.
