*X*lie "CTxilon. - CoixLpany's s.s_. Omapere, Captain Allman, steamed from the breastwork • for ..Poverty Bay, Tauranga," and Auckland, at 8.30 p.m. last evening. She is telegraphed as having arrived at Gisborne at 9.30 a.m. this day.
The . paddle steamer Manaia, Captain Baxter, from Wairoa, arrived at the .wharf at 8.30 p.m..last night. The steamer Thomas Ruasell left Auckland for Gisborne and Napier yesterday. •The B.s. Wairoa, Captain H. Anderson, returned to port from Wairoa at about 9 o'clock' last night, bringing several passengers. She will probably, be leaving again for the'same destination to-morroAV night.
ThY Union Company's s.s. Te Anau, Captain T. McGee, was to have left Auckland at noon to-day, being due here at daylight on Saturday morning. As _ she is taking!a supplementary 'Fri.sco mail from here, the time for the last launch to leave tho wharf has been altered from 2 .p.m." to 1^.30 p.m. RO as to allow the Te Anau to arrive in Wellington as early as possible on Sunday morning.
