No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or-whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soys, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. General entry night, 31st October, 1884, at 8 p.m., at the Petarie Hotel. : ' ' The rules and weights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to.
