General entry night, 31st October, 1884, at 8 p.m., at the Petane Hotel. The rules and weights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Pive per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of the stakes. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of tho stakes.
