VOLUNTEER PRIZE FIRING.

At a meeting of tho Middle Island members yesterday afternoon, in which there was a large preponderance of Canterbury and Otago members, it wa3_ resolved to memorialise the Government with a'viow , of having the next volunteer prize firing , contost held in Christchurch.
