The weather was beautifully mild this morning, and some good work was indulged in. Necklfice did a steady exercise for a mile and a half. Wapiti went once round when "Water King joined him, and the pnir covered three miles steadily. Tasman and Johnny Faulknor had a usual throe mile sweat, and Trenton and Rubina did half pace work over similar distance. Talebearer and Fusilier wei»t three times round steadily, and Tim Whiffier in a sweater went three miles strong. Ike covered two miles at half pace, and then did a mile fast. Carlton and Kick went two miles at half speed. Liverpool, Welcome Jack, and Vanguard, all with rugs on, did a strong gallop over four miles, and Oudeis stripped went a similar distance at half pace. Wizard and Miss Flat colt went once round steadily. The Poet and Minerva covered three miles at three-quarter speed. Whitbach and Ugly Buck sweated twice round, and The Shah and Hanlan did half a mile fast. Nemesis in clothing went twice mind, the last time accompanied by Patrican at half pace. Black Rose in sweaters went three miles strong.
