Separate cloak and retiring rooms for Ladies and Gentlemen are a part of the scheme. , • To facilitate the more frequent use of tho building for Fancy Fairs, Matinees, Horticultural and Poultry, &c, Shows, more windows wiil bo provided, and a project will be submitted for the appproval of the Directors to light the whole house by Electricity in the latest and most inexpensive manner, thus offering the boon of effective lighting unaccompanied by oppressive heat in he summer months.

Tho acoustic properties of the Theatre have not been overlooked, as the proposed plan supplies a now domo roof, which will materially add to the pleasure of the patrons of the entertainments. It is for tho purpose of carrying out these desirable alterations that the Company has been projected, and as testing the public feeling on the subject a hasty canvass for support has been made resulting in upwards of £3500 worth of shares being taken up, thus rendering the successful floating of the Company a oertaintv.
