MEMORIAL SERVICES.
Auckland, This day. A Montefiore memorial service was held at the Jewish Synagogue yesterday afternoon. The rabbi, the Rev. Mr Lichtstein, delivered an appropriate address. There was a good attendance. Wellington, This day.. • Tho centenary of Sir Moses Montefiore was celebrated by special services at the Synagogue yesterday.' Amongst those present were Sir George Grey,, the Hon. Robert; Stout and Mrs Stout, accompanied: by Mr Shrimski.
