ILLEGAL GAMES.
•■; Auckland, This day. Detective Hughes arrested a man named Evans at the race course on Saturday, for playing a game called " sweat 'em." Three enterprising speelers from Wellington were also on the race course, running a table which, purported to be a shooting gallery, and commenced playing a game culled" "sweat," in which a, bushman detected them in the act of cheating. A free fight ensued, and the bushman, who was averse to "sweat," smashed up the table. The speelers got well cuffed by the crowd, and cleared out. .
