COPPER MINE.

CiiHisTCiiUKCH, This day. The party appointed by H. Smith and Co. to visit and report xipori the claims hold by them in a gorge of Sehvyn, which is now being prospected for payable copper, have returned bringing samples of very rich stone, copper showing freely, and their report is highly satisfactory. It is stated that mining operations on an extensive scale are to be commenced at once, and that tenders for drilling a tunnel to cut the lode, will be called for in a few days. Should they be successful in their operations of which they seem confident it will prove a valuable discovery, and be the means of opening up a rich mineral country.
