The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, held their usual weekly wool sale yesterday, when an important catalogue of some 2700 bales was offered, and 2000 sold. There was the usual large attendance of buyers. The market continues fairly active, and competition animated up to a certain limit, but owners' reserves in several instances were above the market value of wool.
