The Fifth Grand Drawing for £4000 will close the end of October, and the Sixth. Drawing will open on the Ist November. This Fifth Grand Drawing will consist of 320 Money Prizes, amounting to £4000, subscribed by 8000 members at 10s each. The various Money Prizes will be distributed as follows:— 1 £300 PRIZE 15 £25 PRIZES 1 £200 PRIZE 15 £20 PRIZES 1 £100 PRIZE 15 £15 PRIZES 2 £50 PRIZES IGO £10 PRIZES 10 £30 PRIZES I 100 £5 PRIZES Total Amount, £-1000. 320 Money Phizes Tho grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that ti purchaser of 25 Programmes is guaranteed a Prize, and the chances arc in favor of thejinvestor drawing a large prize, as there are 220 large prizes to 100 small ones. To an investor of £2 tho chances are only G to 1 against him drawing a prize, and tho Head Prize or any other may be drawn by any invester of 10s. Read this Carefully. — In Boaz's Grand Hamburg Drawings tho greatest odds are only 25 to 1 against an investor of 10s drawing a prize. But carefully note some of tho Horse Consultations on the Melbourne Cup, advertising 20,000 members at 10s each, equal to £10,000. The Cup gives 133 nominations, so that the odds are over 150 to 1 against an investor drawing a horse. Now take the Cash Prizes drawn at the same time, and calculate the odds ; you will find in each of the Cash awards that the odds vary from 200 to 5000 to 1 against an investor drawing a Cash Prize. The whole'Jjjto 000 marbles are advertised to be replaced for each drawing of tho Cash Prizes, which gives the enormous odds against investors. The Company wouul simply ask investors to calculate the odds before placing their investments in any horse consultation; and tho Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. This Fifth Grand Drawing for £4000 will takoplaceunder the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will bo paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
