Tho acoustic properties of the Theatre have not been overlooked, as the proposed plan supplies a new dome roof, which will materially-add to the pleasure of the patrons of the entertainments. It is for the purpose of carrying out these desirable alterations that the Company has been projected, and as testing the public feeling on the subject a hasty canvass for support has been made resulting in upwards of £3500 worth of shares being taken up, thus rendering the successful floating of the Company a certainty. The names already on tho Provisional Directorate and the share list arc a guarantee for the soundness of the undertaking.
