October 13. The cargoes of New Zealand mutton, ex Northumberland and Tongariro, have been landed in good condition, and arc realising current rates.
The English Government have agreed to the proposal of the Gorman Government that a conference of delegates of the Powers interested should bo held iv Berlin next month to consider the best means to secure the freedom of commerce on the Congo and Niger rivers.
