The Clive Square Improvement Committee meet at the Garrison band-room at 8 o'clock to-night. Mr. M. R. Miller holds an important sale of station properties at Mr. Lyndon's auction mart at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow. The Napier High School endowment block, near Wairoa, will be offered for sale for cash by auction at the Council Chamber at 2 p.m. to-morrow. At tho same time and place township and suburban lands a Awatoto, West Clive, and Tarawera will be sold. The steamer Thomas Russell leaves for Gisborne and Auckland at 4 p.m. to-mor-row.
