CnAMIiERLTAN.—On August 2nd, drowned whilst bathing in the river Wye, ChepStow, England, Alfred Edmund,_ third son of Mr. F. 11. Chamberlain, of Bristol, England, aged 21. Ashton.—At his residence, Emerson street, Napier, on September 27, James Ashton, senr., aged 0 , - , ) years. _ Forest.—At St. Mary's Presbytery, Napier, on September 28th, the Very Rev. Jean Forest, S.M., in his 80th year.— RIP The body will remain in state in' the' Church until Wednesday at 2 pm when the Very Rev. lather Sauzeau, S.M., will preuck die funeral oration, the procession moving to the Napier cemetery immediately after* wards. Solemn Requiem Mass on Wednesday at !) a.m.
