Passengers—from Sydney: Mr and and Mrs D'Else and servant, Miss Honrich, and Messrs Joyce, F.H. Phillips, Delbridge, and Newman. From the coast: Revs. C. Jordan, Lewis, and Fox, Archdeacon Williams, Major-General Stodart, Capt. Tunks, Mr and Mrs Royse and child, Mr and Mrs Gray, Misses Langstaff, and Hutchinson, Mesdames Corfield, R. Love, and McMillan, Messrs Hutchison, Dolbel, Pirie, Farrell, Williams, Holder, Davis (2), Cargo, Redstone, Downie, AVeidner, McLean, O'Hansen, Kennedy, Barry, O'Neill, Sexton, P. Holmes, G. Parker, Scarr, Blair, Baker, P. Maher, J. MacAllister, W. Morrice, J. Morrice, O'Donnell, Webb's Marionette Troupe, and six Maories. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, Captain W. Carey, from Sydney via Gisborno and Auckland, arrived here at 6.45 a.m. this day, and was at once tendered by the launch Booj urn for mails and passengers, and the steamer Sir Donald for her cargo. The outward mails and passengers are announced to leave the wharf at 2 p.m., the Rotomahana steaming for Wellington, Southern ports, Hobart, and Melbourne on their transhipment. The s.s. AVairoa, Captain H. Andersen, got back from Wairoa at about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, bringing cargo and a large number of passengers. She is to get away again at 12 o'clock to-night for tho same destination. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Capt. Hutchison, left Wellington at 6.15 p.m. on the 25th instant, passed Cape Turnacain at 10.50 am on the 26th, breasted Blackhead at 1 p.m., passed Bare Island at 6.30 p.m., rounded, the Kidnappers at 7.15 p.m., and arrived in the roadstead at 0.25 p.m. same date. Experienced fresh N.E. winds and heavy sea to arrival. She discharged inside at the breastwork this morning, and at 7 o'clock to-night is to steam on her course forGisborne and Auckland. We thank Mr J. Waldic, her purser, for report and passenger list. It is uncertain if tho p.s. Manaiawill be ablo to got away for Wairoa to-night, as she has a full load of timber to take in this afternoon. The s.s. Kiwi is to lenve Wellington for the coast and Napier this evening. The brigantine Enterprise is expected to sail to-night or to-morrow for Dnnedin, with a cargo of timber, railway sleepers, and tallow. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera, which left Wellington at G o'clock last night, was signalled when our report left the Spit, and would probably arrive in the roadstead at about 1 o'clock. Owing to the amount of cargo ?hc has on board for this port the last launch with tho outward passengers on hoard is postponed until 8 o'clock to-night.
