THE SURVIVORS OF THE LASTINGHAM.
Wellington, This day. Mr Nenle, the chief officer of the ill-fated ship Lastingham, has been appointed chief officer of the Government steamer Hinemoa. The second mate, Mr Barton, has obtained a free missage by the Florida to London, sevoraf of the crew being shipped as A.B.s on the same vessel. Tbc remainder of the survivors have decided to remain in the colony.
