Mr Anderson lias sold most - of his young stock at from £17 to £50, and 1 several pairs at high figures. His sire, Bay Camden, was to Australia, and beat 1 the celebrated mare Beeswing and many f others; was never beat as a racehorse of his day; took three gold cups and medals in 1 Christchurch, and when taken to Otago 1 took first prizes in Dunedin, Balclutha, and ] Tokomairiro. Young Barber is out of a { marc got by Barber, a horse well known in i Nelson and Christchurch.
