PORT OF NAPIER ARRIVALS. September s—Go-Ahead, s.s., from Wellington and the coast. Passengers—Mr Campbell. DEPARTURES. September 4 —Manaia, p.s., for Wairoa, with a number of European and native passengers. o—Gleaner, brigantine, for Taiaroa. s.s., for Wairoa, Passengers— The Napier football team, and a large number of Maoris. The brigantine Gleaner, Capt. Urquhart, sailed in ballast this morning for Taiaroa. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. W. E. Baxter, steamed for Waiaroa at 11 o'clock last night, taking a full cargo and a good number of passengers, principally natives. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana is telegraphed as having left Wellington at 12.10 o'clock this morning, andisnot therefore expected to arrive here until about 4 o'clock this afternoon. She will be tendered as usual on arrival for inward mails, passengers and cargo by the launch and lighters. The last launch with the outward mails and passengers is to leave the breastwork at 7.30 p.m. The s s. Wairoa steamed for Wairoa at 12 o'clock last night, with the Napier football team, a large number of natives, and a good cargo. The s.s. Go-Ahead, Captain Plumley, arrived in the roadstead from Wellington and the coast at 3 o'clock this morning, and was berthed inside at the breastwork by the pilot at about G. 30 a.m. She brought a full cargo for here, which includes a largo quantity of transhipment goods out of the ship Nettie from New York, and the ships Florida and Peter Stuart from London. The Go-Ahead is to steam again for Wellington via the coast at G o'clock to-night. The s.s. Southern Cross, hence for Wellington at 10.30 a.m. yesterday, arrived at her destination at the same hour this morning. The Union Company's s.s. Wairarapa loft Auckland at midday yesterday, will be leaving Gisborno to-night, and is due here by daylight to-morrow. The launch with the outward passengers and mails aboard will leave the breastwork at 10 a.m., and the Wairarapa will steam for Melbourne and Hobart via Southern ports on their transhipment. The s.s.
