Messrs Terry and Baillie's sawmill at Papawai, near Greytown, was burnt to the ground about 5 a.m. yesterday. The mill was insured for £000 in tho Now Zealand office. The engine is only slightly damaged. A small quantity of sawn timber Avas saved. The origin of the fire is unlaw Avn. Blenheim, This day. A dwelling-house and its contents at Nydia Bay, Pelorus Sound, the property of Mr Thomas Gould, Avas burnt down early on Thursday morning. Tho building was insured for £150 in the New Zealand office, but the furniture Avas uninsured.
