THE FOXTON ELECTION.
Wellington, This day. Mr Wilson's election for Foxton is not to be questioned after all. The time within which a petition must be lodged has expired without Mr Izard taking- any steps. It is understood the reason he has not done so is the serious illness of his partner, Mr Bell, which rendered it necessary for Mr Izard to attend closely to the business of the firm.
