August 27—Omapcro, s.s., for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland. PassengersMr and Mrs Wells and boy, Messrs McKay, A. Elson, anel Murtagh. 9The s.s. Wairoa, Capt. H. Anderson, arrived from Wairoa at 2.15 p.m. yesterday, bringing passengers and cargo. She is to get, away asrain to-morrow night. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Capt. Hutchison, arrived in the roadstead about 7 o'clock last night, and was brought inside and berthed at the cattle wharf soon afterwards. She discharged her cargo to-day, and at 7 o'clock to-night is to steam for Gisborne and Auckland. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. W. E. Baxter, returned to port at about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon from Wairoa, bringing a few passengers. She is to get aAvay again at 12 o'clock to-night. The outward passengers were taken oft to the Union Company's s.s. Omapcro by the Boojum at G o'clock last night, the vessel steaming for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland about half an hour later. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley is discharging her cargo of coal for Mr Vautier at the breastwork to-day. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera, for Southern ports and Melbourne, was to have left Auckland at noon to-day, being duo here on Saturday morning. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.
