Has been specially built for the NeAv Zealand trade by Messrs John Elder and Sons, of Glasgow, a firm famous for turning out the fastest boats of tho age. No expense has been spared in rendering her passenger accommodation equal to that of any steamer afloat. Lithographic plans of her various saloons, &c, can be seen at the Company s offices. , , It is intended, weather permitting, that she shall go through the Straits of Magellan and call at the beautiful harbor of Kio de Janeiro. The saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort of the passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. Tho dietary acale is most liberal. Second-clasß and ateerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships are commanded by ■*- experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from Now Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch has been established in Liverpool, and -vessels will be despatched at suitable'intervals to the principals ports in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrß R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular line of vessels will he laid on for the various ports in this colony to meet the requirements of the trade. Arrangements for the passages of friends to and fro from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can be made at the Head Office, Christchurch or at any of the Branches in the colony. D.
