ex-store, has fallen by 1/- to 38/- ; New Zealand Avheat is quoted at 3-1/- to 38/-, exstore ; Adelaide flour remains at 27;'-. TalloAV, Australian, has advanced by Gd to-day's quotations being 35 'G for beef aud mutton of average quality. The wool market continues firm. At today's auction 10,S00 bales were catalogued. The total quantity of Avheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,800,000 quarters New Zealand mutton, prime quality, is unchanged at od per lb. (Received August 25, 0.35 am.) August 23.
Consols remain at 100f, and New Zealand securities as folloavs : — Five per cent. IP-J0 loan, 10.').}: five percent. ISB9 loan, 105?r ; four and a half per cent. 1870-1954 loan, OOi; four per cent, inscribed stock, 102.
The catalogue at to-day's avool sale comprised 10,-00'balcs. The market continues firm.
