The greater part of the Land is rich agricultural Avide open valleys purchased some years ago so as to command the hills that they surrounded, then the property of the Crown, now an endowment to tho High School. The Governors of that Board intend selling, at the same time, their endowment Land, 10,000 acres, in lots so arranged that they Avill Avork avcll in Avith the divisions of the Turiroa Estate, so that, witli rhe exception of the few lots adjoining the Town, the purchasers of all the other lots will be able to purchase a portion of the Hill Lands behind them.
