The Company's Splendid Now Steel-built Steamship U A P EH U, 4200 tons register, 4000 horse-power, W. C. Crutohlet, R.N.R., Commander, will be despatched from Lyttelton on 26th July. This fine Steamer has been specially built for the New Zealand trade by Messrs John Elder and Sons, of Glasgow, a firm famous for turning out the fastest boats of the age. No expense has been spared in rendering her passenger accommodation equal to that of any steamer afloat. Lithographic plans of her various saloons, &c, can be seen at the Company's offices. It is intended, weather permitting, that she shall go through the Straits of Magellan and call at the beautiful harbor of Rio de Janeiro. Parcels under 30lb taken at half-a-guinea . each. The saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort af the passengers, who'are provided -with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary, scale is most liberal. Second-class and eteefage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict ■punctuahty every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY.
