Tho cricket match, at Lord's, Australia versus England, was resumed and concluded to-day. Tho weather Avas fine, and the attendance large. The Australians, with 73 runs up and four Avickets down, sent in Midwinter and Giffen. The latter was caught when he had made 5, ancl on Spofforth joining Midwinter the latter was bowled. Boyle became Spofforth's partner, and about 20 runs were added before a separation was effected, Spofforth being caught when he hacl 11 to his_ credit. Palmer was the next man in, but neither he nor Boyie wore able to make a stand, Boyle being bowled for 10. Scott then came to the Avickets, and succeeded in running up a well played 31 ivheil Palmer was dismissed bowled for 13. Blackham, the last man, was injured by a ball shortly after ; going in, and Avas compelled to retire, the innings thus closing for 145 runs, Scott carrying out his bat for 31. Tho All England eleven thus won the match by one innings and five runs.
