Election notices. TO THE ELECTORS OF THE BOROUGH OF NAPIER. r\ ENTLEMEN,-T beg to inform you that it is my intention to come forward as a candidate for tho representation of the Borough. I shall take an early opportunity of addressing you in public. I am, Gentlemen, Your Obedient Servant, JOHN SHEEHAN. TO THE ELECTORS OF NAPIER. A FEW weeks ago I was gratified to receive an intimation from a considerable number of Napjier settlers that it was their wish I should stand for the representation of this town when an opportunity offered. I had the plcasuro to meet and confer M'ith a number of those gentlomen, and finding my opinions generally in accord with theirs I accepted the invitation given me. The writs for the election of the new Parliament are about to be issued, and I beg to inform you that I am a Candidate for the Napier seat. My political opinions are known to many of you, and I hope shortly to address you upon the questions of public interest with which the next Parliament will have to deal. J. D. ORMOND.
