The market rate of discount has declined to 1-g- per cent., and is now five-eights below the bank rate. New Zealand securities —Five per cent. 10-40 loan, 104{-; five per cent. 1889 loan, 103 i; four and a half per cent. 1879-1004 loan, 10 IJ ; four per cent, inscribed stock, IOC:}-. The markets for colonial breadstuffs and tallow are unchanged. Australian leather, best sides, are quoted to-day at llfd. (Received June 2G, 12.15 p.m.) Foo Choav, June 24. The tone of the tea market is Aveak.
