PORT OF NAPIER ARRIVALS. May. 29—Southern Cross, s.s., from Wellington. Passengers—Miss Martin, and 30 Government immigrants ex s.s..Victory. «, The p.s. Manaia is announced to sail for Wairoa at 5 o'clock this afternoon, but if the present southerly wind continues she will most probably have to be put off. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross Captain Hutchison, left Wellington on Wednesday at 5.30 p.m., and arrived in our roadstead at 7 o'clock last night. She was tendered by the Boojum for the English mails and passengers. The Pilot brought her in early this morning and moored her to the breastwork, where she discharged her cargo. She is announced to sail for the North at 7 o'clock this evening-. The Union Company's s.s. Te Anau left Auckland at 12.30 p.m. yesterday, and will arrive here at daylight to-morrow. The Boojum will leave the wharf in the morning at 6.30 to tender her for inward mails and passengers. She is advertised to sail at 2 p.m. for the South. . The Union Company's s.s. Manapoun leaves Wellington at 5 o'clock this evening, and will arrive here in the forenoon tomorrow. The fore-and-aft schooner Onward was towed out this morning, preparatory to sailing: for Kaipara. -Messrs Shavr Savill and the Albion Company's ship Northirmberland, Captain Todd, is now almost full, and the last portion of her cargo of frozen meat and WOol will be taken off on Monday next. It is confidently expected that the ship will be ready for sea by Tuesday, and all claims are advertised to bo sent in to her agents, Messrs Kinross av«d Co., by noon on Monday.
