The finder of a carriage rug, lost at the Spit, will be rewarded on returning same to office of this paper. A brown gelding has been impounded at Hastings, and, if not redeemed, will be sold on June 12. Mr C. Ij. Margoliouth has commenced business in the premises in Tennyson-street lately occupied by Mr Ryan as auctioneer, land broker, valuer, and general commission agent. Should sufficient inducement offer, the Union steamship Wairarapa will make another South Sea Island excursion, leaving Auckland about the sth July. Offers for the purchase of the vertical boiler formerly used in connection with the Corporation water supply are invited by the Town Clerk.
