PORT OF NAPIER

ARRIVALS,

May. 22—Omapero, s.s., from Dunedin via Oamaru, with tAVO steerage passengers.

The Union Company's s.s. Omapere, Captain Holmes, arrived here at 7.30 last night, was berthed inside at the breastwork at 5 a.m. this day. The following is a report of her passage, kindly furnished by the purser:—Left Port Chalmers at 10 p.m. on the 19th instant, and arrived at Oamaru at 7 a.m. on the 20th; sailed same day at 730 p.m., and arrived at Napier as above. From Port Chalmers to Oamaru experienced light variable winds andfine weather, thence to arrival strong southerley Avinds with cloudy weather and passing showers of rain. She is now discharging her cargo to-day, consisting of about 150 tons of general goods, grain, and breadstuffs, and some 50 tons of Portland cement for Messrs Kinross and Co. The Omapere steams for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland at 5 o'clock to-night. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana | left Auckland at 12.30 p.m. yesterday, and is duo at our anchorage by daylight in the morning. She will be tendered for imvard mails and passsengers by the launch at 6.30 a.m., and those outwards for Southern ports aud Melbourne are announced to leave the wharf at 2 p.m. The fore-and-aft schooner Maud Graham has cleared at the Customs in ballast for Pelorous Sobnd, and will sail the first favorable opportunity. The Union Company's s.s. Te Anau is expected to leave Wellington at 5 o'clock to-night, and should thus arrive here in good time to-morrow morning. She is announced to steam for Northern ports at 4.30 p.m. the same day. The steamers Bella and Manaia still await a more favorable chance to proceed to Wairoa. The s.s. Kiwi was to have left Wellington last night, and should be here by to-morrow morning. Tho Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross left Auckland last night, and is expected to arrive here by Sunday morning. A fore-and-aft schooner from the South was coming up the bay as our report left the Spit, and -will probably prove to be the Onward from Dunedin. By Electeic Telegram.—Copyright.
