PORT OF NAPIEB ARRIVALS. May. G— Bella, s.s., from Wairoa with four passengers. DEPARTURES. May. 6 —.Kiwi, s s., for Wellington via the coast. Passengers for Castle Point—Mr Cribb and 3 children. The launch Bella, Capt. Green, returned from Wairoa at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, bringing four passengers and some cargo. She called off Mohaka on her way down, but was uuable to get in owing to tho heavy sea running. She is now loading up again for Wairoa and Mohaka, and will get away at 10 o'clock to-morrow night. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, steamed for Wellington via coastal stations at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Fairy is taking a cargo of posts, timber, and other cargo for Mohaka and Mahia, and will be leaving on the first favorable chance. The carsro of tho barge was of the value of £355. The loss falls on the company. Gisborxk, This day. Tho wreck of the brig Rio Grande has been abandoned to the underwriters, who sell her to-day. An official enquiry into the circumstances of her stranding was hold yesterday, but nothing new was elicited. Christchurcii, This day.
