MELBOURNE

Thursday. The application of Captain Lockyer, of the steamship Adelaide, for a mandamus to prohibit tho Victorian Navigation Board from enforcing the suspension of his certificate, was heard to-day, but was ultimately refused. It is probable that Captain Lockyer will appeal against the decision of the Court.
