Consols remain at and New Zealand securities at tho following quotations: — Five per cent 10-10 loan, 103 ; five per cent 1889 loan, 105 ; four and a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, four per cent inscribed stock, 101. Tho wheat market is very dull. Adelaide, ex-store, remains at 435, and New Zealand ditto at 35s to 41s ; Adelaide flour, exwarehouso, 295. Tallow is quiet. Australian beef, average quality, 37s ; ditto mutton, 40s. (Received April 12, 1.5 a.m.) April 10. Tho total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England to-day is £15,100,000, being £400,000 less than tho reserve last Thursday. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has advanced from 44 to 40 per cent. Tho total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,000,000 quarters, an increase of 40,000 quarters during the week.
