The Artillery, Riilo Volunteers, and Band parade for Government drill iv front of the Athcmeum at 7.15 to-night. Applications for the post of head master of the Woodvillo district school must be forwarded to Mr 11. B. Jackson, chairman of the committee, not later than to-morrow. Tho Pctano Road Board wants tenders for about 50 chains of road work in Wharepunga Valley. The trustees of the late John Bicknell, Messrs S. Graham and T. A. Shirley, return thanks for past patronage to the firm, and announce that tho business will bo carried on as heretofore under their supervision. Tho finder of a Milner's key, which is lost, will be rewarded on leaving same at Daily Telegram office. Mrs Coham, milliner, will shortly pay a visit to Waipawa with a choice stock of millinery, underclothing , , baby linen, &c. A dozen young hens arc wanted at the Napier Hospital.
