March. ay—Frank Guy, threo-masted schooner, from Hobart. • ~. , -> 28—Southern Cross, s.s., fromGisborneaud Auckland. Passengers—Mr and Mrs Stuart, Mr and Mrs Selwyn and child, Miss Morris, Mr and Mrs D. Wilson and 3 children, Mary Wilson, Messrs O'Hara, Grant, Michael Boylan, and Hutchinson.
Tho three-masted schooner Frank Guy, Capt. Jacob Balle, brought up in the roadstead from Hobart yesterday afternoon, aud was shortly afterwards sailed inside and berthed at tho breastwork; Her passage occupied somo 19 days, having experienced light 'and variable Avinds throughout the trip. She has commenced discharging her cargo to-day, Avhich is consigned to her owner, Mr J. 11. Vautier, and consists of timber, jams, and fruit. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Capt. Hutchison, from Gisborno and Auckland, arrived here at 5 a.m. this day, and was berthed inside at the hrcastAvork a little later. Sho brought a good cargo, which she Avill discharge by 2 p.m., Avhen sho is announced to steam for Wellington direct. The ss. Kiwi is reported as having left -Wellington for tho coast and Napior at 6 o'clock "last night, and is expected to roach hero by to-morrow morning, and would in that case be sailing again at 3 p.m. Tho Noav Zealand Shipping Company's ship Turakina is expected to bo full of frozen meat, tallow, audAVoolby to-morrow, and Avill clear at tho Customs during tlie afternoon.
Tho Union Company's steamer Manapouri, Avhich left Auckland at noon yesterday, is duo in our roadstead by daylight to-morrow morning, and is advertised to steam on her Avay southwards at 2 p.m. Tho s.s. Maori is to get aAvay again for Wairoa at 10 o'clock to-night. The steamer Stormbird is telegraphed as having left Wellington at 10.30 last night, and should be hi our roadstead by to-mor-row morning. She will discharge her cargo inside, and at 3.30 p.m. is announced to steam again for Wellington. Mr F. W. Williams is her agent at this port. The schooner Onward has cleared at tlie Customs in ballast for Pelorus Sound, and expects to get away to-night or to-morrow morning. Tho Union Company's steamer Tarawera from- Molboumo and tho South, Avas oxpectcd to reach Wellington at midday today, and Avould bo despatched again at 8 o'clock to-night, thus reaching hero at about 2 o'clock to-morroAv.
