Description—Block XIV. Taiioraite Survey District. These lands aro situated about eleven miles from Woodville or two miles from the village of Kumcroa. The Napier-Welling-ton Railway will pass within 5 miles of Block XIV. Tho terminus of the Railway when it reaches Tahoraito will bo eight miles from Kumcroa. The main roads through the Block havo been or aro now being cleared of bush and formed for dray and horse traffic. The whole of tho block is lightly timbered and contains some good agricultural and pastoral forest country. Tho soil is of a rich description overlying a marl and limestone formation. NOTICE is hereby given that the Maungaharuru Education Reserve of 7760 acres will bo offered for lease by public auction, at the Council Chamber, Napior, on WEDNESDAY, the 16th day of April next, at noon, for a period of twenty-one years from the 22nd day of that month. Upset rentals per annum —- Ist seven years, £191; 2nd seven years—£242 10s; 3rd seven years—£29l. Conditions may be seen and further particulars obtained on application at this offico. W. PARKER, Jun., Secretary to Commissioners. Tho abovemcutioned reserve is situated on the eastern slopes of tho Maungaharuru Range, and is now occupied under lease which will expire next month. It is firstclass pastoral country, Avell grassed and watered, aud is of convenient shape.
