MELBOURNE

This day.

A. grand Masonic ceremony took placo in theMclbourncTownHa]l yesterday, when Sir William Clarke, Bart., was installed District Grand Master of the English, Scotch, and ■Irish constitutions. Fully three thousnnd Masons were present. In the evening a levee and banquet was held at the Town Hall, which was attended by eleven hundred people. The whole of the day's proceedings passed off with great eclat.
