ARREST OF A SUPPOSED
MURDERER.

The police have effected the arrest of a man who is supposed to be the murderer of a farmer named Beech and his wife at Pcttavel, near Geelong, in January last The accused is known to have been a lunatic who effected his escape from the Yarra Bend Asylum some time ago.
