PORT OF NAPIER ARRIVALS. March. B—To Anau, s.s., from Sydney via Auckland and Poverty Bay. PassengersMr and Mra Sheehan, Mesdames Hodges, Steeney, Kempthorne, and McDonald and child, Miss Steeney, Sir Georgo Whitmore, Dr Sinclair, Judge McDonald, Hon. Nglai, Signor Nobili, Messrs Anderton, Studholm, Mair, Puckey, G. Cook, G. Blaydes, G. McVay, George South, Carnell, Joll, Carrick, Myers, Mitchell, Hodgson, Nasmith, Wilson, Bowern, Lowe, Scow, Skelton, Mair, and Firth. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Tβ Anau, Captain ThomaaMcGee, from Sydney via Auckland and Gisbbrne, arrived in the roadstead at 9.15 a.m. this day, and was soon afterwards tendered by the launch Boojum for mails and passengers, and by the steamer Sir Donald for live stock and general cargo. The following is a report of her passage, kindly furnished by her purser:—Left Sydnoy at 4.30 p.m. on the 28th ultimo, and arrived at Auckland at 11 a.m. on the 4th instant; sailed again at 1 p.m. ohthd Gth, and dropped anchor off Gishorne at 7 p.m. on the 7th ; left again at 1.15 a.m., and arrived as above. Experienced light easterly breeze and fine weather from Sydney to Auckland, and from thence strong S.E. and easterly winds and sea to arrival. The outward mails and passengers leave the wharf at 2 o'clock this afternoon, the steamer proceeding on her passage for Melbourne via Hobart and Southern ports shortly after their transhipment. The steamers Manaia and Maori aro still detained in port by the easterly weather. The steamer Kiwi, which left hero for Wellington on Thursday night, reached her destination at 8 a.m. this day. The Union Company's steamer Waihora is to leave Wellington this evening, and will bo due in the roadstead to-morrow forenoon. Her mails, passengers, and cargo will bo tendered for in the usual manner, and the steamer is announced to steam on her course northwards at 5 p.m. Cargo and passengers for Sydney by the Waihora will be transhipped to the s.s.
