ARRIVALS, February
28 Silver Cloud, three-masted schooner, from Newcastle, N.S.W. Passouger— Master Scarfe. 28—Maori, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers —MessrsEllison, Gallagher, A. Brewer, and Hannah, Mcsdames Elliott and Ftced, and ten natives. 20—Kiwi, s.s., from Wellington and the coast. Passengers—|Messrs Martin, Frame, W. Winter, Murphy, and three for tho coast.
The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Capt. Charles Balle, from Newcastle, N.S.W., arrived in tho bay at about 2 o'cluck yesterday afternoon. She reports having had a fine easterly weather of fourteen days duration. Her cargo of coal is consiged* to hor owner, Mr J. H. Vautier, part of which tho Sir Donald has been ;engaged in lightering, She is to be <berthed inside at the breatwork to-morrow morning. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross discharged her cargo at the breastwork last evening and this morning, and was te have left for Wellington shortly after 3 o'clock thin afternoon. The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, from Wellington and the coast arrived at tho anchorage at 6.30 a.m. this CLIV, and was berthort inside at the breastWork about hulf-an-hour later. She left Wellington at 7 p.m. on Tuesday ; lauded passengers and cargo at Flat Point next morning, and cargo at Uiiti during the afternoon, arriving at Castle Point at 9 p.m.; worked thero on Thursday and left nt 6 p.m., arriving here as above. Her cargo for here includes transhipments ex .Waimea. Villaltii, Lady Jocelyn, and Invercargill. The Kiwi was to havo steamed again for Wellington at 4 p.m. this day, and would call at Ohonga and Wainui on her way down. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera was to havo left Auckland at noon to-day, and should reach here at daylight on Sunday. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Wairoa hint evening, bringing a ni-mber of passengers, 140 sacks of maize, 14 bales of wool, and 5(3 cases of fruit. She will be leaving again for the same destination at 12 o'clock to-morrow night.
The Union Company's s.s. Wairarapa is due here from the South at midday on Monday.

[by telegraph.] Duxedin, This day. The steamer Fenstanton discharged in ten days 2300 tons, and took in 1000 tons of coal, G4OO bales of wool, nnd 8450 carcasses of frozen mutton. She sails to-day for London direct.
