Society will, at the expiration of the present lease, be of such value as to render unlikely the renewal of the lease on terms advantageous to the Jockey Club, and therefore ■a' sub - committee be appointed consisting of Messrs. J. N. Williams, W. U. Burke, and the mover, to inquire and examine what blocks of land suitable for a racecourse can bo obtained and at what price, and to report to a special general meeting to be convened for the purpose of considering their recommendations.
