The home team went in first, and were all out for 109 runs. At tho close of the play tho Victorians had lost two wickets for 23 runs. The match was resumed this morning when Canterbury's first innings closed for 203 runs. Tho remaining scores are :— Watson, st Davie* 82 Fowke, cDavies.. .. .. ..24 Chapman, not out 16 Total 203 The Tasmunians thou went in for their second innings, and at 1.30 p.m. had lost four wickets for 33 runs.
