HASTINGS RAM FAIR.

About 3000 rams "are penned. The sale is well attended. Tho highest price realised is £15 for one of Mr J.Reid's, of Oamaru. The New Zealand and Australian Company sold one for £12. More than half tho sheep havo been passed. Mr'Tanuer'H sheep are selling well; one fetched £24. The bidding is not brisk, excepting for tho best rams. Tho imported sheep are an improvement on last year. Tho average price of the rams sold is £5 10s.—(By telegraph, own correspondent.) ■
