January. 28—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington via the - coast. - Passengers —Mr Davis and Miss Lee. 28—Weka, as., for Blackhead. 28—Fairy, s.s., for Waipare and Waihua. 28—Manaia, p.s., for Wairoa, with forty European and native excursionists. « Tho steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 6.45 p.m. yesterday, bringing several passengers and some cargo. She is to leavo again for tho same place at 10 o'clock to-night. Tho Union Company's steamer Omapero left Dunedin yesterday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and is due here on Friday next. Tho s.s. Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, got back from Blackhead and Waimarama last night, bringing 46 b-iles of wool from the former place, which she transhipped to tho tarque I_oc>iniigw_. thi.-i mnruitij^. Tho s s- Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, steamed for Wellington and the coast at 7 o'clock last evening. The s.s. Weka, Capt. John Campbell, took her departure for Blackhead at 7.15 p.m. yesterday. ..Tho brigantino Enterprise sailed from Dunedin for this port on Saturday-last;' and may be expected to arrive towards tho end of the present week. . The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, got away for Wairoa at about 11.30 last night, taking five race horses and about forty excursionists for the Wairoa races. She arrived at hor destination oarly this morning, and leaves for Napier at 4 p m. Tho. steamer Go-Ahead is posted on the Telegraph boards as to sail from Wellington at 6 p.m. yesterday for Napier via Castle Point., Sho is duo here by to-morrow morning, and, after discharging her cargo insido, is announced to stoam for Wellington at 3 o'olock. Tho s.s. Fairy, Capt. Peterson, steamed for Waihua and Waikare last night, with a quantity of stores, and i. to .return with wool. • The barque Lochnagar, dipt Porriman, is to clear at the Customs for London tomorrow morning; . Tho Union Company's steamer Southern Cross is to leave Auckland for tho South to-morrow, and will probably reach hero on Saturday.
