FEARFUL HURRICANE IN ENGLAND. — IMMENSE DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY.

Fears are entertained for the safety of the ship City of Lucknow, which was in collision with the ship Simla. It is reported that she has been sighted off Deal, but the statement is not confirmed.
A foarful hurricane has passed over England, and caused immense destruction of property, tho havoc hi some places beiug complete. Numerous wrecks occurred on tho coasts, and it is feared that some loss of life has resulted.
Evening.
The ship City of Lucknow has arrived safely at Gravesend. All who were on board the Simla havo been saved.
