Sales I»y Mr M. It. Miller. AW A. MOA LINCOLN RAMS. THE undersigned have been appointed Agents for the sale of Lincoln llama from the celebrated flocks of the Hon. M. Holmes, Awa Moa, Oamaru, and are now prepared to execute orders for either stud or flock purposes. These sheep have been bred for many years with a view to producing - a dense fleece of fine, long, lustrous wool, and at the different Shows have always taken high honors in their various clauses. At tho Christchnrch Show, held on the 9th November last, (1883) there were 98 sheep competing from the best flocks in the Middle Island, and the first prizes in every section were taken by Awa Moa Sheep, and also the Champion Cups for the best ram and ewe of any age, viz. : —■ Ram over 18 months .. Ist prize Earn under 18 mouths.. Ist and 2nd prizes Ewe with lamb at foot,. Pastoral Society's Show, held on tho loth of November last, (1883) 115 Lincoln Sheep were entered for competition, when the following prizes were awarded to the Awa Moa flock:— For tho best Ram, Itooth or upwards ..
