SALE OF MERINO SHEEP.

DtTNEDiN, This day. An important sale of merino sheep was held yesterday being: the flock of Mr C. C. Boyes, Kawarua Falls station. There was spirited competition, and altogether 19,000 sheep were sold in lots of from IGOO to 3500. Ewes brought from 9s 10d for fiveyear olds to 14s Id for four tooths, and wethers from 7s 10d for eight tooths.
